Instructional Coaching: supporting your teachers to improve, one step at a time

Delivered by Dragonfly Training, this live, practical course will give you insight into differing approaches to instructional coaching. It will run over two 2-hour sessions on 24 and 31 January 2023, at two different times to accommodate participants in a range of time zones.

Description

Instructional coaching is a hot topic in global education right now. Focused around targeted and individualised development pathways, research shows that instructional coaching has a great impact on both teacher efficacy and student outcomes. This practical course will give you insight into differing approaches to instructional coaching and prepare you to develop and deliver your own programme in your school.

This interactive online course is delivered by Dragonfly Training. Participant numbers are limited. This course will only be confirmed once minimum numbers have been met.

It will run over 2 sessions of 2 hours each:

Slides will be made available to registered delegates; certificates will be issued to attendees.

Presenter

Duncan Partridge

Duncan has spent nearly 20 years as a Headteacher and senior leader in international schools in the UK, Argentina, Peru, Italy and Lesotho. Duncan also held the position of Director of Education at both The Skills Builder Partnership and The English-Speaking Union.

Duncan has an MA in International School Education and Leadership and is a qualified coach and Voice Print practitioner. His first book, Creating Cultures of Coaching in Schools: Unlocking Potential, Increasing Impact, will be published later this year by McGraw Hill/Open University Press.
