- Develop safer recruitment policies and procedures for your organisation
- Prepare the recruitment process
- Select the right people to interview
- Carry out thorough background checks
- Respond to concerns identified through background checks and assessing risk
- Respond to inappropriate behaviour and allegations of abuse
- Have an awareness of 'professional' offending behaviour
- Identify useful interview questions and evaluate answers
- Carry out induction of new staff to prevent poor practices
