This AI Strategy Development course, delivered by Educate Ventures, provides leaders with an overview of the core components of understanding AI for education and the importance of establishing a strategic imperative for the use of AI within their school(s).

Description

This course is aimed towards all leaders and stakeholders in the school environment. Leaders will begin to 

  • consider the applications and implications of AI for teaching and learning  

  • explore how AI can be harnessed to address school/Trust priorities  

  • understand ethical and safeguarding issues related to AI  

  • consider how to align AI strategy with digital strategy and other teaching and learning policies

Dina Foster, Head of Educator AI Training

Dina is an experienced former secondary school Deputy Head teacher and is currently a doctoral candidate at UCL with a research focus on how schools develop AI strategy to harness the benefits of AI, and augment teaching and learning.  She gained her MA in Education and Technology and also holds a Master’s in Teaching, both from the Institute of Education.  Dina is particularly interested in supporting school leaders with the development and implementation of successful EdTech strategies to address school priorities.
