DEI for Governors in International Schools
Delivered by Diverse Educators, this interactive, online course will explore whole school approaches to creating a sustainable DEI strategy and the role of Governors in setting the DEI strategy in international schools. This course will take place on 8 February 2023 from 10.30-12.00 GMT(UTC).
Description
In this session we will explore whole school approaches to creating a sustainable DEI strategy.
The session will:
- Outline the DEI landscape
- Reflect on the role governors have in setting the DEI strategy
- Explore the UK legal framework for DEI
- Discuss the local, national and international context of DEI
- Signpost different policies, practices and processes to review through the lens of DEI
- Support you in understanding the DEI metrics that Governors need to track
