Learning observations – making the most of our time in colleagues’ classrooms
Delivered by University of Sunderland, this online interactive course consists of two 2h sessions and dives into improving everyone's lesson observations experience. This course will be held on 17 January and 24 January 2024.
Description
In this course, participants will examine how we can move beyond ‘learning walks’ and ‘lesson observations’ – and instead achieve genuine professional development and improved student outcomes from the time we spend in each others’ classrooms. The focus will be on practical changes that can be implemented immediately.

Bob (Barbara) Justham is an experienced professional development coach. Following a decade in international schools, which included responsibility for whole school professional development, she has returned to the UK where she runs an educational consultancy focusing on international schools and leads final year modules in the University of Sunderland’s International Education MA.
