Mental Health Awareness
Delivered by Mental Health and Wellbeing Training, this interactive online course will run over two sessions on 12 and 19 January (3.5 hrs each). An interesting and informative workshop, it will increase your knowledge and understanding of the most common mental health conditions.
Description
An interesting and informative workshop which will increase your knowledge and understanding of the most common mental health conditions. By the end of the training you will:
- Appreciate the impact stigma has on accessing support for mental ill-health, especially within an international context.
- Understand the risk factors for mental ill-health.
- Know the different ways mental ill health can present, and be able to identify symptoms of anxiety, depression, and self-harm.
- Know where to find excellent online resources and be confident in accessing the right support for these mental health conditions.
This course is delivered by a specialist child and adolescent mental health nurse with 20 years of experience working in the UK’s NHS and as a former mental health consultant and trainer for Cambridgeshire schools.

This seven-hour, interactive online course is delivered for COBIS by Mental Health and Wellbeing Training Ltd. Participant numbers are limited. This course will only be confirmed once minimum delegate numbers have been met.
The course will run over two sessions of 3.5 hrs each:

Rachel Ewan, Mental Health and Wellbeing Training Ltd
Rachel Ewan: Registered Mental Health Nurse with a BSc in Mental Health Studies from King’s College London. 20 years’ experience working within the NHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) and now runs a private consultancy and training company. Has a PGCE and is completing an MSc in Positive Psychology from the University of East London.
